Boa Conda
Fit on the fly
The patented K2 CONDA System allows you to tighten, loosen or adjust your liner on-the-fly – from outside of the boot! The first time you try this, you’ll wonder how you ever rode without it.
How it works: A Boa® is attached to the CONDA minimized harness is securely built into the shell of the boot and tightens around the liner to lock your foot in position. Focus is on the superior ankle support and heel hold. The harness lace is threaded through a floating tongue lace guide, allowing riders to customize fit for maximum comfort.
Double Boa
Fully adjustable, inside-out fit
The K2 Double Boa® System allows for separate adjustment and tightening of the liner and outer shell of the boot. Other two reel systems focus on upper and lower shell tightening. But if your liner isn't adjusted right, none of that helps. With a proper liner fit, the single coiler reel on the outer does the job.

Comments about K2 Snowboarding Maysis:
Wow!, Do yourself a favour and check these boots out. I have owned a lot of boots over the years and now I have finally found the boot I will continue to buy into the future. Comfy, light weight, adjustable, responsive. The BOA for the inner is fantastic giving you many options if you you want a tight or loose fit. After recommending them to all the fella's, two guys have bought them and are just as happy as me. Used with Flux bindings and a K2 Zero. Excellent work K2.

Comments about K2 Snowboarding Maysis:
I moved to Colorado earlier this year and this is my first winter. I've been to the mountains 4 times in these boots so far and I love them!
I went to REI and tried 3 other pairs of boots but these were the most comfortable. I have narrow feet and these fit well. I generally wear a 9 or 9.5 shoe. These boots are a 9 and are great. They are the easiest things to adjust. You can also put the liners in the oven to mold them (according to the REI guy...I haven't done this yet). The only reason I didn't give them a 5 is that occasionally my toes get a little cold. This is a very minor issue though, it may be because my feet are so warm that they start sweating and then get cold, I don't know. I don't want that to discourage people too much, I naturally have very cold feet even when the rest of me is perfectl warm. I would buy these again tomorrow.

Just got back from week in Utah and I freakin' love this boot!!! It goes on easy and off just as easy. The Boa system is a lifesaver. I adjusted my 2 Boas constantly during the day sue to conditions and if I wanted to give my foot a rest on the lifts. I will NEVER go back to laces. The [$] was so worth it as I HATE taking off boots and constantly adjusting the tightness. These boots made the week so great. I fully endorse them as much as I possibly can. I wear a 10/10.5 in a running shoe but needed to by an 11 Maysis.

Comments about K2 Snowboarding Maysis:
I initially picked these up because of their nice styling and my desire for a quick lacing system.
While the liners themselves on these boots are nice, a bit on the kush side, they lack any real liner lacing system. The internal BOA just bites into your shins as you lean forward even when loose, and the top part of the liner is only tightened when you tighten the external shell BOA, this hardly helps to create any real supportive fit of the liner around your foot.
K2 should drop this gimmcky BOA Condra system they are using and switch to traditional liner lacing systems that have been proven to work by all the other major brands out there. They should keep the liners however.
I returned these and really took the time to find a proper fitting boot, which ended up being a high end snowboard boot with tradition laces made by Nike.

Comments about K2 Snowboarding Maysis:
These are outstanding boots. They are much stiffer than Burton Ions or Ruler boots, and unlike the Burton Speedzone, you can really get some tight boothold with the boa system. I am very impressed with the waterproofing on these boots as well.
The downsides are that the upper tongue takes a while to adjust properly (it took me 6-7 days on the hill before it was dialed in perfect for both feet) and that there is a little bit of rub and scraping coming from usage with Union Asadachi bindings - however, this is cosmetic and doesn't seem to be affecting the material on the outers in a meaningful way.
I have found these boots give me much better control on moguls and trees where quick turning is essential. I am using with both a rocker (Lib Tech TRS) and camber (Arbor A-Frame) board, and the improvement over my Burton Ions is palpable.

Comments about K2 Snowboarding Maysis:
Hi, I baught these boots on Sunday, went boarding today (Tues), After 1 Run down the slope i realised i had well over tightened my leading foot, causing a pain on the lower shin and slight pain on the inside ankle, which wasnt a problem within a minute i had loosened the boot, removed my foot, refitted my sock and had re-tightened. which made my friend that i was with extremely jealous :D
next run down i was carving away like i had worn these boots for months, very comfortable, nice and warm too, i did feel as tho the top of the outer shell appeared to loosen only slighty towards the end of the day on my lagging foot, but to be honest i did spend a lot of the day playing around with them to find a nice riding feel. the very slight play did allow me to turn much quicker.
the big plus i noticed with these boots is when flying downhill, i hit a large icy patch where i then went hard on the brakes to stop myself from falling and... well... really hurting myself :P where before with previous boots the vibration and knee vibration i felt was horrendous, these boots REALLY helped i Actually found it a lot easier and a lot less vibration, i tested this out a few times on the big ice patch and every-time without fail it felt like i was riding on it like it was powder. the noise from the board was there but only a fraction of the vibration and bounce
BUY THESE BOOTS!!

Comments about K2 Snowboarding Maysis:
One of my favorite parts about this boot is the Liner and the liner boa conda, The liner boa conda doesn't tighten the entire liner and thats good, It tightens exactly where you need it and lets the blood still flow through your foot. The other part I really like about the liner is the velcro. Its perfectly placed so it won't irritate your foot or leg and to also hold the liner tongue and boa conda liner in place, so you don't have a bunch of stuff shifting while you ride. Thanks to the minimalistic and strategically placed, yet perfectly used, technology this boot gets tight, stays tight, feels great and fits perfectly. You won't find a better feeling or fitting boot anywhere for any price.
