Jib Rocker
PARK & RAIL AUTHORITY
Jib Rocker is a versatile twin Rocker built to dominate the park. Just enough rise in the tip and tail to create a loose, buttery feel on all types of terrain. Contact points stay well off the snow until engaged – eliminating edge hook while maintaining fun pop.
Carbon Web
Connect to the web
Always improving the feel and energy return of our boards, the R+D group releases the CARBON WEB rider input/output system. Offered in two levels of sensitivity. Resulting in a more connected feedback loop from terrain to rider.
Hybritaper
Lightweight & Strong
Hybritaper takes our Hybritech Construction, and tapers out the core at the tip and tail to reduce the swing weight. We blend the tips from a cap into a thin sandwich removing material where you don’t need it.
WH3 Core
Lightweight honeykomb core technology
Using the same wood lay up as the W2 core; Our WH3 adds` two strips of Honeykomb material between the bindings and the rails.
ICG 10
Triaxial Glass
A glass laminate with diagonal layers that stiffens the board torsionally. Giving you improved edge hold and increased stability for those off-axis landings
Hyper Progressive
An infinite number of different radius are blended together flawlessly from mellow in the tips, to more aggressive in the center. The result is a super predictable feel that never hooks. Responsive at high speeds and smooth enough to butter your way from the peak to park.

Comments about K2 Snowboarding Parkstar:
I purchased this board after owning the WWW rocker. I loved the weapon but I wanted something that was a little stiffer for larger jumps. Before I get to the cons I would like to point out that I absolutely love this board. The flex, and weight are perfect. What is upsetting is the fact that after every day of riding park I find a new dent, chip or split in/on the board. The second day of riding this board the top sheet on the nose split and peeled 6 inches inward.
I still ride and would recommend this board. K2-Possible to fix the weakness of this board?

Comments about K2 Snowboarding Parkstar:
This board is amazing, bottom line. Incredible flex and just the right amount of pop. I was reluctant to getting a park board from k2, but this board wiped away those thoughts. Extremely light and playfully flexy, this is a park board dream. Anyone wanting to go for a new park board will be happy with this choice. I know I'll be sticking with k2 for a while now.

Comments about K2 Snowboarding Parkstar:
Great board all-around.
I'm 105kg and i have a 157 2010 parkstar .
This board is outstanding from every point of view.
When you need it to pop it pops , when you need it to corner at fast speeds it does .
It just simply unbelievable , not to mention how lightweight it is .. it's just sick .
I do have to agree that it chips quite easily . i got run over by a skier when standing still and the back of the board chiped quite easily ( this happened to me with my previous boards cause ppl around here are quite bad mannered and the boards did not chip so easily )

Comments about K2 Snowboarding Parkstar:
this board is fast, light and has an incredible pop. 2 things could be improved: the flex(could be a little bit softer) and the edge hold(could have more grip).

Comments about K2 Snowboarding Parkstar:
Had 2010 Parkstar... rode maybe 50 days on it (NZ winter and Canada). Loved the board. Flatline was perfect for me. Didnt know about getting flatline or rocker cause you need to hold a solid edge in NZ, not to worry! Flat line was perfect. All good on a hardpack day, sweet for butters and killed it in the powder.
Base is supper fast.
Anyways board broke and K2 honored a warranty claim so here I am with a 2011 Parkstar. Again, was worried about rocker. Have ridden two days - one hard pack and one powder up at Mt Ruapehu and the board killed it. Still fast, still good carves, still good pop but even bigger butters.
Feels a bit more flexi but i think thats the slight rocker. Definitely stoked with it. Love the carbon forks, keeps it poppy compared to my mates' Banana or chilli dog.
Rep K2 so hard now - the side cut kills it for carves and dont think i will ride anything else. Have a wishlist now and top of it is the Slayblade!
